Formula 1 fans launch petition for Ted Kravitz to be brought back to Sky Sports

A terrible rumour has been doing the rounds since last night, that of Ted Kravitz being booted off Sky Sports.

The fan favourite F1 presenter did not make an appearance during the entire first week of Barcelona testing, and fans fear that the worst might indeed be true.

When Sky Sports released their list of TV presenters, there was a notable absentee in Kravitz and things have gone into overdrive ever since the rumour about Scott Young having fired Ted Kravitz has been doing the rounds.

Ted is fondly known for ‘Ted’s Notebook’, a comprehensive guide into F1’s winter testing, something fans have dearly missed this time round.

Now, with the TJ13 report reading that, Ted Kravitz was sacked as he had run into trouble with his boss Scott Young, Twitter wants to take things in their own hands and reinstate Ted into F1 broadcasting for 2019(Sky or otherwise).

“TJ13 has been given some gossip from a television engineer to publish however, the source is from the TV equipment suppliers Gearhouse Broadcast, a supplier for Sky TV. TJ13 was told that Ted has fallen out of favour with the new Sky F1 boss Scott Youngand has not had his contract renewed.” according to the source cited by TJ13

Now, fans on twitter have started a petition, so as to help Ted Kravitz come back to our TV screens.

Others want answers from Sky Sports, as to how could they sack one of their most talented presenters.

Do you want to see Ted return to F1 broadcasting?
