FPL Tips: 3 midfielders to balance your pocket ahead of game-week 30

FPL Tips: 3 midfielders to balance your books ahead of game-week 30 to balance your books as the Premier League is set to restart.

The Premier League is all set to resume from June 17 onwards, the fans are analysing their teams to make the next move on the Fantasy Premier League.

It has been more than 3 months since the last game-week was played and most of the participants need minor alterations to once again make a viable combination to fetch points in the FPL.

Also with new rules and advantages introduced by the FPL ahead of the restart of the league, a massive shuffling in the FPL table is surely expected.

Since the budget is always a constraint to make an ideal team, one has to be careful while picking the players from the teams which aren’t and they cost less and help to bring in balance in the squad.

This season there were multiple players who with their impressive performances were able to cement their positions in almost all the FPL XIs by the participants.

Therefore, the Sportsrush is about to name 3 cost-effective midfielders who can allow you to bolster crucial areas of your team and can give you decent points on board.

John Fleck

FPL Tips

Cost: £5.0m

Ownership: 5.5%

Next game-week: Aston Villa + Newcastle

Sheffield United have given some really hot picks from the defence this season, with John Lundstram peaking in charts till November as he scored several goals to take his early pickers at the top of the charts.

However, John Fleck is one of the most underrated picks this season and has the capability to be a good addition in your squad under a very economical rate.

Fleck has been a regular player for the Blades and has missed only 3 games this season that too only due to suspensions and injuries. He along with Oliver Norwood took around 94% corners by Sheffield United.

The Scottish midfielder has been a threat in the open play too and has managed to bag 5 goals in 25 appearances from his position. A certified player for sure.

2. Joao Moutinho

FPL Tips

Cost: £5.4m

Ownership: 5.2%

Next game-week: West Ham United

Wolves being one of the dark horses in the Premier League season has a bright candidate in Joao Moutinho, who can play a big differential in your team.

The Portuguese International is not so regular in scoring goals but is consistent in giving assists while controlling the game from midfield with 15 of them arriving in less than two seasons as a Premier League player.

Moutinho is fifth among FPL midfielders for chances created and first in the category, we are talking about, Moutinho is also responsible for most of the corner kicks taken by Wolves and have a fair-share in freekick too.

3. John McGinn

FPL Tips

Cost: £5.4m

Ownership: 2.6%

Next game-week: Sheffield United + Chelsea

When coming to Aston Villa, the no-brainer for all managers is Jack Grealish, followed by Anwar El Ghazi but John McGinn was one of the most crucial layers for the Clarets until his ankle injury forced him out.

The Scottish International is probably a bit rusty since he hasn’t touched a ball even once in 2020, but he was set to return in march but pandemic halted his return, therefore, there is no guarantee about his role.

Dean Smith’s struggles to mould a convincing combination of his other central midfielders during McGinn’s absence would also arguably hasten the need for the Scotland international’s return.

McGinn’s early season of brief scoring threat caught the eye when he managed to ba 3 goals in the first 7 game-weeks. So, if he plays this week, he could be a good gamble.
