Apple iPhone 15 Pro redefines mobile gaming, supporting latest AAA titles
Once again, Apple shocked the smartphone industry with their latest iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. But this time, they also took the gaming industry by storm, by revealing that the 15 Pro and Pro Max will support AAA games.
On September 12, Apple hosted a special event to unveil its new technology: Watch Series 9, Watch Ultra 2, iPhone 15, and iPhone 15 Pro. The American tech giant once again set a benchmark for the mobile industry. Their new iPhone is probably the best smartphone in the market right now.
The new iPhone device has a plethora for users to get the ultimate smartphone experience. But this new device will probably be a never-before-seen mobile gaming experience for its audience. Apple revealed that their upcoming iPhone 15 Pro can run those AAA titles.
iPhone 15 Pro supports AAA games
The mobile gaming industry has grown significantly in the past few years. There are many exciting video games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail available on mobile. But no one imagined that AAA games like Resident Evil and Assassin’s Creed would also be playable on smartphones and mobile devices.
AAA titles have always been those games that are playable on consoles and PCs. But with the iPhone 15 Pro, gamers can enjoy those titles on a small screen. The Apple Event revealed games like Death Stranding, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and Resident Evil Village.
Gamers can also play the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage on the iPhone 15 Pro. But running these games on this Apple device won’t affect the visuals. Instead, the trailer revealed that fans will experience the games with the same visuals, as they would on consoles or PCs.
Apple could achieve these feats on an iPhone device thanks to the A17 Pro chip, the new 6-core GPU, and the faster Neural Engine. Moreover, the new GPU allows hardware-accelerated ray tracing, enabling gamers to enjoy high-quality graphics in their titles.
Apple reinstated its commitment to the gaming industry
For many years, Apple was never a platform that came to mind while discussing video games. Yet, Apple has since committed to becoming a reliable gaming platform. In fact, the American tech giant has already brought games like Resident Evil Village, No Man’s Sky, and Death Stranding on Mac.
Now that AAA games will be available on iPhone devices following the Macbook, Apple has reinstated its aim to become a dominant force in the gaming industry. These high-end games are currently available in the 15 Pro edition but might later be released in the standard one. Moreover, Apple might also bring more AAA games over to iOS.
