Argentine forward Joaquin Correa was instrumental in his club’s incredible UCL performance. So, EA Sports released a FIFA 23 Showdown edition card of Correa to honor him for reaching the UCL final against Manchester City.
The Showdown series is a unique collection of FUT cards that features players with upgraded stats who will soon play in a real-life matchup. Further, the winner of the match receives an additional +2 boost, but a draw results in both sides earning an additional +1 boost. The latest addition to the Showdown series is Inter Milan’s Correa.

Joaquin Correa’s base FUT card is an 80-rated Rare Gold one. However, Electronic Arts considerably improved his stats by including him in the Showdown series. His new exclusive card has a rating of 90 with the following new stats:
- Pace – 92
- Shooting – 90
- Passing – 90
- Dribbling – 93
- Defending – 48
- Physicality -86
The Inter Milan star’s new Showdown card features him as a Centre Forward (CF). But his position could be changed to Striker (ST) for improved squad chemistry. His new unique card has a 4-Star Weak Foot and 5-Star Skills, making him a great forward capable of performing all in-game skill moves.
How to complete this FIFA 23 Showdown SBC?
Even though Correa’s Showdown card is highly rated, EA Sports made it simple for fans to obtain this amazing in-game item. This SBC is divided into two parts, where they have to build a starting lineup while following certain requirements.
Serie A
- A minimum of one Serie A player should be there in the lineup.
- The team’s overall rating should be over 88.
89-Rated Squad
- As the name suggests, the overall rating of the team should be 89.
