When FIFA 23 fans might think the Team of the Season campaign can’t get any better, EA Sports surprises them by dropping the Super Lig TOTS. So, let’s find out who those players are from the elite league of Turkish soccer.
With the Team of the Season campaign, EA Sports honors soccer talents for their outstanding performance during the season. However, TOTS is mainly reserved for big soccer leagues. But with FIFA 23, the developers transformed their system and released TOTS for less renowned leagues. The Super Lig TOTS was the latest addition to this in-game campaign.
Unlike other leagues, the developers did not seek fan votes to select the best players in the Turkish football league. Furthermore, the Super Lig TOTS collections did not receive a complete starting eleven along with some additional players like other major leagues. Instead, EA Sports picked the league’s eight most notable players and gave them a big boost.

The following eight Super Lig players have been included in FIFA 23’s Team of the Season:

- 89 GK – Mert Gunok (Besiktas)

- 90 CM – Badou Ndiaye (Adana Demirspor)

- 93 ST – Enner Valencia (Fenerbahce)

92 ST – Mauro Icardi (Galatasaray)
It’s not a massive surprise that three players in the Super Lig TOTS are from Galatasaray. After all, the Turkish giants are now leading the league. Former PSG star Mauro Icardi joined Galatasaray this season and already became one of the best players in the league.
Furthermore, two players from Fenerbahce, the current second-placed side, were added to this new TOTS list. Aside from the two dominating forces in Turkey, Karagumruk’s Fabio Borini, Adana Demirspor’s Badou Ndiaye, and Besiktas’ Mert Gunok also received a Super Lig TOTS card for themselves.
How to get these new TOTS cards?
These Super Lig Team of the Season cards are currently available on the FUT packs. If fans are not willing to take a chance on unpacking one of these cards, they can purchase them from the Ultimate Team’s Transfer Market. But fans who took the second option might have to pay a hefty amount to get one of these new cards.
