Minecraft stars Dream and Quackity

Prominent Minecraft content creators, Dream and Quackity, seem to have sparked a bit of controversy among their audiences. This conflict between two major Minecraft creators took over the internet like wildfire.

Both content creators released new Minecraft projects last month. But, surprisingly, both of their projects were nearly identical, prompting their fan bases to argue over who came up with it first. This quickly escalated into a massive internet conflict that everyone is talking about right now.

What is the drama between Dream and Quackity?

After the massive face reveal last year, Minecraft star Dream shocked the internet again on April 3. He announced his new survival multiplayer Minecraft server, United SMP (USMP). It was set to be more impactful than his renowned Dream SMP, being a multi-language server that allows multi lingual creators to collaborate.

But the Minecraft community was hit by another big announcement the following day when Quacity announced his new server, Quackity SMP (QSMP). The surprising part was that this too was a multi-language server. For many it might not be that surprising for the Mexican YouTuber to come up with this idea, as he also makes videos or streams in both English and Spanish.

But fans couldn’t ignore the similarity between Dream and Quackity’s servers. Moreover, both the creators dropped their new projects at the same time. It led fans to start a war about who first came up with the idea. But both the Minecraft streamers were quiet about this whole drama. Eventually, Dream broke the silence on this matter and claimed it was simply a coincidence.

How is the internet reacting to this Minecraft drama?

Everyone, including the YouTuber megastar MrBeast, was confused because of the similarity between Dream and Quackity’s servers. Although the American Mincrafter claimed QSMP was initially focused on Spanish and English, the Mexican creator later announced other languages in his server like Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean.

The final fuel to the fire was Quackity still being silent on this issue. Aditionally, he also didn’t reply to Dream’s private texts on this matter about their servers. It led many fans to conclude that there is bad blood between the two Minecraft stars.

This whole drama between Quackity and Dream didn’t have their direct involvement, but their communities are taking over Twitter discussing the issue. Whatever the case may be, it will be interesting to see who has the most successful multi-language Minecraft server.
