Fans had been eagerly waiting to see the next Call of Duty and what it offers. In an announcement from The Games Award, Activision makes amends to reveal the next title in Warzone Season 5 through a reveal event.
The Season 5 of Call Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 will release on August 2, 2023. However, a reveal event will be hosted to showcase a sneak peek at the following title within the game. An event like this has been done in the past and has a lot of excitement surrounding it.

There have been multiple leaks on the internet surrounding the next shooter game from Activision. Netizens have unanimously concluded that the next title is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. From UI leaks to weapons, most of the content points toward a modern-day based setting from the shooter.
The end of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 also teased the next game by featuring Makarov’s iconic dialogue “No Russians” in post-credits scenes. This led many to believe that a third iteration of the shooter will come next from Activision. Confusion dwelled among many as the publishers haven’t released the MW series back-to-back in recent years.
However, recent leaks from various users surfaced on the internet showing new weapons, perks systems, and more beforehand. The game is said to follow a blue theming for its overall UI, which is currently set to classic green color. The War mode from COD WWII will be making a return with the upcoming title as well.

Leaks suggest Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will also feature remastered classic maps from 2009’s MW 2 in the game. The perks menu will be categorized with pieces of gear like Helmet, Vest, Gloves, and Boots. This would function like the current Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. However, it will be denoted with new terminology.
