It must be a very confusing time to be Gareth Bale right now!

When he made his record breaking transfer to Real Madrid, Bale must have envisioned himself playing at the Bernabeu for the rest of his career. The prestige of playing and winning in the famous all whites of Real Madrid would have been a huge motivation to the magical Welshman.

Four years on, Bale has has a mixed time at the legendary club. On one hand, he has won every trophy there is to win with the club, having played a crucial role in a few of those triumphs himself.

But on the other hand, he has to constantly prove himself in front of the most unforgiving spectators in the world. The Bernabeu is famous for booing some of its superstars, as the likes of Figo, Zidane and notably Ronaldo have faced their wrath in the past.
