"He's just unfair"- Young Max Verstappen bashes Charles Leclerc in front of camera after a junior race

“He’s just unfair”- Young Max Verstappen throws allegations of a cheat on Charles Leclerc after a junior race, Leclerc also comments on it.

A video surfaced of Max Verstappen from 2012 shows how he calls Charles Leclerc‘s actions on the track to be unfair, as the 14-year-old Monsaquie allegedly pushes him off the track.

The incident occurred after both drivers got involved in a car collision and reacted to the incident. Verstappen was seen more furious as he accused Leclerc of being unfair while walking away with his father Jos Verstappen.

On the other hand, Leclerc seemed more level headed and calmly told that it was a usual racing collision. Though, the difference in temper could be because Verstappen was probably at the receiving end.

The rivalry continued in Formula 1

This just shows that both the drivers were competitive since the early phase of their career but obviously both have matured immensely and share a mutual respect for each other.

However, the rivalry between the two has intensified ever since Leclerc has shifted to Ferrari, with both deemed to be the stars of the near future.

Last season saw some memorable spectacles between the two where both try to get better of each other, signalling that this is just the beginning and this phenomenal competition will grow in the coming years.

As of now, they are also challenged by Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll and Alexander Albon, who are from similar generation. But there is no denial about the fact that the former two are level above the rest.

Both drivers are set to compete against each other in Sochi at the Russian Grand Prix this weekend. Though, they might get outshined by the dominant Mercedes.
