How to Tame a Panda in Minecraft; 3 Simple Steps!

This article will simplify multiple steps to tame a Panda in Minecraft into digestible bites, making it easier for you. Details below.

Pandas are simple creatures in real life as well as in the game. They are a neutral mob and will not harm you unless you make the first move. However, they work just like any other mob in the game. However, you cannot lead them; that is the only problem. Let us look at the simple steps to taming a panda in this game.

Step 1 – Finding Bamboo

Pandas eat bamboo; the first step is to find lots of bamboos. Find a jungle or a forest biome and search for bamboo; make sure to pick up lots of them if you want a panda on your animal farm. Or you could skip this step and go to the second one.

Step 2 – Finding a Panda

We suggested skipping the first step because Pandas are found in Bamboo Jungle Biomes. And you can easily find bamboo (used to tame the pandas) in the Bamboo Jungle Biome. So explore around the jungle and see if you can find a group of Pandas, close to 2 or 3 Pandas huddled together.

Step 3 – Taming a Panda

When you find a Panda, go near them and drop the bamboo near them, they will pick it up and eat it. Keep repeating this process until you see hearts appear around them; that’s how you know the Panda is tamed. Keep repeating the process to take them back to your animal farm.

Optional Step

You can house the Pandas on your farm by building a fence around them and making sure you have at least eight bamboo blocks in their fence. They breed the same way as the other animals in the game, but their breeding has no specific advantages.
