Huge heel turn on the cards for top WWE superstar

After many years, the Shield reunited much to the delight of the WWE Universe. One of the best factions in WWE history, the Shield were extremely loved and ran roughshod over the roster in their time together.

Since they split up, all three members have become WWE Champion at some point and have established themselves as premier stars in the company.

Unfortunately for their fans, this reunion looks set to be a short lived one as the company plans on turning Dean Ambrose heel very soon.

One could argue that Ambrose’s character has staled over the last few months as people are getting slightly bored of him. Dean was a brilliant heel in the past but has always been a face since the Shield broke up.

Reports are saying that Dean could become the bad guy as early as the TLC PPV. It would be the ultimate tease for the fans, as WWE would be breaking up the trio just after their huge reunion.

As it stands, Vince still wants to have Lesnar face Reigns for the title in the main event of Wrestlemania. While many people were apprehensive of their match in the build up to Wrestlemania 31, both Lesnar and Reigns delivered a hard hitting contest.

But we will never know you would have won that bout, as Seth Rollins had chosen that match to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and win the title.

Things are different now though.

Back then Reigns was on the up while now he has well and truly established himself as a main event player. It could also end up being Lesnar’s last match with the company which is why this match is a worthy main event.

That leaves Dean and Seth and the reports are that they would have a feud that would have a blow-off match at ‘Mania.

Last time, Seth was the villain while Dean was the vengeful hero. Things could be interesting when the roles are reversed, and should be one of the best story lines of the year if it were to happen.
