IND vs BAN Dream11 Team Prediction: India vs Bangladesh 2nd T20 Match Squad Updates

IND vs BAN Dream11 Team Prediction: The hosts will be looking to secure a victory to avoid a series defeat in Rajkot.

The second T20I of the ongoing Bangladesh’s tour of India will be played tomorrow at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. Bangladesh winning the first match by 7 wickets has commenced the series in an intriguing manner.

Another loss for India will see them losing their second home series this year. Having drawn the T20I series against South Africa, the hosts will have a lot to ponder after another series loss. With the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 slated to be played in less than a year now, India wouldn’t want to be in that position.

Bangladesh, who are playing their first-ever T20I series in India, were elated after beating India for the first time in Delhi. A series win in India will do truckloads of good for them ahead of the Qualifiers of the World Cup in Australia.

Pitch conditions and Toss Prediction

An average run rate of 9.47 is enough to presume about the nature of the surface at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. The batting-friendly surface will be rejoiced by batsmen from both sides especially after playing on a slow-ish track at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

As far as the toss prediction is concerned, the two T20Is played at the venue has seen both the teams bowling and batting first win the match. If the pitch aids the batsman like the previous matches, the winning captain is likely to bat first.

IND vs BAN Dream11 Wicket-Keepers

Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim was declared the Man of the Match after his match-winning fifth T20I half-century in the first match. In nine T20Is against India, Mushfiqur Rahim has scored 225 runs at an average of 45 and a strike rate of 122.28 including a couple of half-centuries.

In a squad without Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan, Rahim would be keen to take the responsibility once again tomorrow.

I have also picked Bangladesh opening batsman Liton Das as my second wicket-keeper batsman for this match. If you want, you can pick Mohammad Naim in place of Das but I am going in with the more experienced option.

IND vs BAN Dream11 Batsmen

India captain Rohit Sharma might not have had the best of times in home T20Is this year but he still remains India’s best batsman for this match. Coming on the back of scores of 12, 9 and 9 in his last three T20Is, Sharma is bound to register a significant innings.

India batsmen Lokesh Rahul and Shreyas Iyer have also find spots in my Dream11 fantasy team for this match. In 12 home T20Is, Rahul has scored 426 runs at an average of 38.72 and a strike rate of 139.67 including four half-centuries.

Having scored 22 (13) with the help of one four and two sixes in the first match, Iyer played an impressive cameo in the first match. Since his national comeback this year, Iyer has looked good and should be able to fetch you points in Rajkot.

Bangladesh top-order batsman Soumya Sarkar is my only specialist batsman from the visiting team. Having scored 39 (35) with the help of one four and two sixes, Sarkar was Bangladesh’s second-highest run-scorer during their victory.

IND vs BAN Dream11 All-rounders

India all-rounder Washington Sundar is the only specialist all-rounder for this Dream11 fantasy match. Having it in him to contribute across departments, Sundar is another player who should benefit you in this match.

IND vs BAN Dream11 Bowlers

India pacer Deepak Chahar has had a praiseworthy start to his T20I career. His ability to dismiss batsmen with the new ball makes him a potent weapon in this format.

Had India called correctly with the DRS, spinner Yuzvendra Chahal could have easily picked another wicket in Delhi. In 14 home T20Is, Chahal has picked 24 wickets at an average of 17.04, an economy rate of 7.64 and a strike rate of 13.3.

I am picking Shafiul Islam over Mustafizur Rahman because of the former’s bowling performance in the first match. If you want, you can go ahead with Rahman. This team gives you two additional credits to do the same.

Much like Shafiul, Bangladesh spinner Aminul Islam also left a significant impact in the previous match. Having registered bowling figures of 3-0-22-2, Aminul was Bangladesh’s pick of the bowlers and deserves to be in your fantasy team for this match.
