Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Suresh Raina were the standout performers with the bat while Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal troubled the Irish batsmen. They were not able to pick the wrist spin and variations of the spin twins and as a result bundleed out cheaply in both the matches.
While Kuldeep Yadav was named the man of the match in the first match, Yuzvendra Chahal bagged the man of the series.

Meanwhile, Australia, Pakistan and Zimbabwe are also involved in a 7 match T20 tri series being played in Zimbabwe. Pakistan won the first match of the series comfortably trumping the hosts. Australia, on the other hand, have slid down one spot to reach to the third spot in the ICC T20I rankings.
Virat Kohli is at the top of the ODI batsmen rankings and at the 8th spot in the ICC T20I rankings. MS Dhoni is at the 14th place in the ODI batsmen rankings.
In the next few days, these rankings can fluctuate a lot as two big T20I series involving 5 teams would be going on. If Pakistan lose most matches of the tri series and India clean sweep 3-0 against England, there are chances for India to further climb in the rankings.
