TheSportsRush takes a look at India’s day 5 schedule at Asian Games 2018. A staggering five gold medals are up at stake in Rowing event.
Indian athletes will enter the field to add to the medal tally on Day 5 of the Asian Games 2018. Deepika Kumari and Promila Daimary, two big hopes in the Archery event, will take centre-stage in the Pre-Quarterfinal of the Recurve category. 5 gold medals will be in line in the rowing event, while India’s men and women team will look to book a berth in the final of the Kabaddi event.
But India’s strongest medal hopes will start their individual campaign in the badminton event. PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Srikanth Kidambi and Prannoy Kumar will be amongt the big names competing in the singles event, while Ashwini Ponappa will pair N. Sikki Reddy in the women’s doubles.
