Inter Milan vs Barcelona: Gerard Pique arrived with a ‘bang’ ahead of the heavyweight clash – quite literally.

Barcelona have returned to winning ways this season after few terrific performances since the end of the international break last month. Valverde’s side is yet to lose points since returning from the break.

The feat is significant because Barcelona’s superstar, Lionel Messi, has played only 26 minutes for Barcelona since the squad regrouped from their national duties.

Messi suffered an arm injury during the game against Sevilla. Barcelona, however, registered a convincing victory in the game, and proceeded to outperform Inter Milan and Real Madrid in the following week.

They won their first leg of the Copa Del Rey, and pulled a terrific late comeback to secure three points against Rayo Vallecano. Valverde’s side now faces a tough test at San Siro as Barcelona play Inter Milan in their return leg of the group stage.

Meanwhile, Gerard Pique arrived at the venue, but not the way he would’ve liked.

Inter Milan vs Barcelona:

The Barcelona squad has reached Italy for their game against Inter Milan. There was confusion regarding the comeback for Messi in this game, and after initially not including the Argentine in the squad, Valverde finally brought Messi back.

Gerard Pique arrived with the squad, but unlike on the field, the defender was probably a little less aware about his immediate surroundings.

As he get off from the bus, he banged his head straight at the bus mirror while looking at his phone. However, Pique dismissed any help and walked straight towards the hotel.

Here is the video:

The driver lated dismantled the mirror and kept it inside the bus to prevent any more accidents.

What next?

Barcelona will face Inter Milan on November 7 where they will aim to secure a berth in the round-of-16 of the Champions League. The Catalan side will then return to La Liga, where they face Real Betis.
