MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli take Twitter by Storm in IPL Week 4

IPL’s very own ‘El Clasico’ is back for its second edition and the team dynamics look a little different this time round.

CSK were on a high in the initial part of the tournament, playing the important moments better and getting over the line with their experience.

However, in the last few games, CSK have faltered during crunch situations during the game, especially their bowling unit, raising some doubts over their chances of winning the IPL after such an impressive start to the IPL.

Is the dip in performance just a one-off or have CSK been found out? We’ll have to wait and see.

RCB don’t seem like the most balanced unit but if their stars can fire, they can make it to the playoffs. However, for that, Kohli and ABD will have to really step up their game and come out with flying colours.

The match up promises to be a brilliant one and with so many star batsmen on display you can expect a high-scoring encounter tonight.

Let’s get to business now!

Transfer in: ABD, Siddharth Kaul

Now, I already have Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson, KM Asif and Virat Kohli in my side for this game.

AB de Villiers is an absolute must in this fixture, as on the flat track in Pune, he could go really big. Also, CSK are having some issues with their bowling unit and even when they were performing well ABD took them to the cleaners at the Chinnaswamy, hence do not go into this game without ABD.

With all 8 teams featuring during the weekend, I wouldn’t want to make any other changes to my team set up for this game, especially with the existing firepower in my team.

MS Dhoni could prove to be a good pick, but the fact that he bats at 5 makes me not pick him, especially because I’ll have to transfer out a player who plays either tonight or tomorrow’s day game.

For the uncapped player, I can get in only a bowler or an all-rounder and hence I will have to wait and see if either Murugun Ashwin or Navdeep Saini are drafted into the XI.

If either of them is, I get in that player, else I get in Siddharth Kaul from the evening game.

Now, should you use the multiplier for this game? I think you should, because considering the flat surface at Pune, this could be a high scoring encounter and we have a lot of batsmen in our arsenal to help us rack up the points.

But, if the pitch report suggests that the pitch could be a little sticky, don’t use the multiplier.

Match Powerplayer- AB de Villiers(if RCB bat first)/Suresh Raina(if CSK bat first)

2nd innings Powerplayer- Virat Kohli(if RCB bat second)/Suresh Raina(if CSK bat second)

Now, I already have Suresh Raina, Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu and Yuzi Chahal in my side for this game.

Virat Kohli and ABD would walk into my team for this game, for reasons already mentioned in the IPL Fantasy League section.

Now, in order to accommodate these two I’ll have to get in a bowler worth 75k and Ngidi seemes to be the best of the lot.

I won’t be making any more changes to my side for this game.

Batting Powerplayer- ABD(if RCB bat first)/Virat Kohli(if RCB bat second)

Bowling Powerplayer- Yuzvendra Chahal
