Nicholas Pooran last 5 innings score: What is the full form of DNB in cricket?

Nicholas Pooran last 5 innings: Punjab Kings batsman has been struggling for runs in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2021.

During the 26th match of the ongoing 14th season of the Indian Premier League between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Ahmedabad, Punjab Kings batsman Nicholas Pooran didn’t find an end to his woes after getting out without scoring yet another time this season.

Coming in to bat at No. 4 in the 11th over, Pooran had time on his hand to get his eye in and then play his shots. Having said that, the 25-year old player is in such a phase as nothing seems to be working for him.

Facing Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder Kyle Jamieson, Pooran aimed at defending a short delivery on the off-side but ended up lobbing it into the hands of Shahbaz Ahmed at point to register a three-ball duck.

In six IPL innings this season, Pooran has scored a total of 28 runs at a paltry average and strike rate of 4.66 and 84.84 respectively. In his last five innings, Pooran has returned scores of 0, 19, 0, 9 and 0.

Throughout this season, Pooran has had four ducks this season including a diamond duck against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Against defending champions Mumbai Indians in Chennai, Pooran hadn’t received the opportunity to bat. It is for the same reason that “DNB” (Did Not Bat) was written in front of his name during analysis on Star Network.
