After a closely fought five-match T20I series witnessing the hosts registering a 3-2 series victory, Zimbabwe’s tour of Ireland 2021 is all set to move to its second leg in the form of a three-match ODI series.
While the T20Is were played in Dublin and Bready, the ODI series will be played at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast which had last hosted an ODI against Zimbabwe a couple of years ago.
Out of the 27 ODIs which Ireland have played at this venue, they have won 12 and lost 13. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, are yet to register an ODI victory in Belfast as both their encounters had resulted in losses over here.
In addition to taking confidence from their recent series victory, Ireland would also be banking on the fact that they have won four out of their last five ODIs against Zimbabwe.
Ireland vs Zimbabwe 1st ODI Live Telecast Channel in India and Ireland
As has been the case during international cricket in West Indies, New Zealand and Zimbabwe in the last year or so, international cricket in Ireland has also joined these nations with respect to not being available for television viewing in India.
Having said that, streaming platform Fan Code is live streaming Zimbabwe’s tour of Ireland 2021 at a nominal price. As was the case in recently concluded T20I series, fans won’t have the option of buying a pass only for the first match of the series.
