Bhuvneshwar Kumar has evolved to be one of the most pivotal members of the current Indian team, his absence is clearly visible as the Indian pace attack are struggling in England at the moment.

The Indian team would hope a speedy recovery for the Sunrisers Hyderabad ace as they head into the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates shortly.

Apart from Kumar, there are various members of the Indian contingent affected by the injury plague.

Jasprit Bumrah and Washington Sundar were ruled out before the beginning of the tour itself whereas, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin and Hardik Pandya were victim to blows in the second test at Lord’s.

The Indian team take on England in the 3rd test at Nottingham from this Saturday and will be hoping to get a win under their belt to cut down the deficit to 2-1.

Kohli would be hoping that he can get his best possible attack on the field and maybe find the best opening combinations. Bumrah and Ashwin have been declared fit, with Bhuvi in line to play the 4th Test. It is the captain’s fitness that is under the scanner though, as he was suffering from a bad back.
