The Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah has become an apple of the eye of the entire Cricketing fraternity with the services he has provided to Indian Cricket across all formats. Budding cricketers who wish to pursue their careers as an International bowler have started to look upon him as an inspiration and a role model.

But, this isn’t it. Recently an old lady’s GIF had did quite some rounds across various social media platforms where she is seen imitating the tall pacer’s unique bowling run-up.

For the people who have not watched Bumrah closely, he, unlike other fast bowlers holds the ball using both his hands, with the bottom one (left) used as a support base. Such is his out of the box action, that even the Indian skipper couldn’t help but try it out during his training session before the semi-finals.

On Saturday, a Twitter user, named Shanta Sakkubai shared the aforementioned GIF which shows her imitating Bumrah’s bowling style. “Just like the rest of us, the mothership was so impressed with Bumrah’s performance in the world cup, that she decided to mimic his run-up,” Shanta Sakkubai wrote in the caption.

Bumrah replies with a heartfelt message

Watching an old lady replicating his action with utmost zeal and vigour really impressed the 25-year-old and he couldn’t help but share the GIF via his Twitter handle, bearing the caption- “This made my day.”

Bumrah was exceptional with the ball throughout India’s 2019 World Cup campaign right till the semi-final match versus New Zealand where he gave away only 39 runs in ten overs, while picking up the struggling Martin Guptill early on in his innings.

In fact, he took 18 wickets in the nine matches he played in the World Cup at an impressive average of 20.61.
