The WWE are turning all stones to make the 25th anniversary of RAW iconic.
During the recent episode of Jerry Lawler’s podcast “Dinner with the King”, Lawler revealed that there is a high chance that he will reunite with Jim Ross for commentary for the much anticipated event.
Here is what Lawler had to say :
“It’s almost 99.9% certain that J.R. and I will be reunited for the 25th Anniversary Raw show on January 22 to do commentary.
Probably the show will be broadcast from two different locations – the Barclays Center and the Manhattan Center. That would make sense to me.”

The 25th anniversary of RAW already advertised several big names such as The Undertaker, “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Micheals and Kevin Nash.
The reunion of the duo will be nostalgic as they had amazing chemistry and brought out all the emotions in the Attitude Era.
Jim Ross is currently under a part time contract with the company which states his appearance for only selective and exclusive shows.
Jim Ross was part of the commentary team for the WrestleMania 33 main event which saw Roman Reigns defeat The Undertaker.
Jerry Lawler on the other hand was suspended by the WWE on charges of domestic violence.
Once he was cleared he made a few appearances which mostly included being a part of the pre-show panel for pay-per-views.
It is common knowledge that JR had issues with Vince and other members of the higher brass.
The WWE Universe has immense respect for JR and always gives him a great reaction whenever he comes back on television.
Jerry also has a huge fan base among the WWE Universe, as he was part of some of the greatest calls in WWE broadcasting.
