With the Royal Rumble done and dusted, the WWE Universe is now gearing up towards the company’s flagship show of the year, Wrestlemania 34.
The Rumble was widely praised by fans, and they lapped up Nakamura and Asuka’s Rumble wins, guaranteeing them main event matches at Wrestlemania.
With the Elimination Chamber set to take place later this month, some reports have already leaked a major portion of the match card for WM 34.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Nia Jax will challenge Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s championship, as the two best friends will turn enemies in a few short weeks from now.
Here is the rumoured match card,
WWE Universal Title Match
Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar
WWE Title Match
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles
RAW Women’s Title Match
Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss
SmackDown Women’s Title Match
Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair
WWE Intercontinental Title Match
Braun Strowman vs. The Miz
Ronda Rousey and a partner (The Rock & WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle have been rumored) vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
John Cena vs. The Undertaker
Finals of the WWE Cruiserweight Title Tournament
The 5th Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
While most of these matches are along expected lines, Ronda Rousey’s involvement in a tag match against Triple H and Stephanie will split the fans in half. While it would certainly be a highly anticipated match, a match between Ronda and Flair for the title would even more enticing for the WWE Universe.
Flair is one of the best, if not the best, female wrestler on the roster while Ronda is hugely popular with the fans. A big-time match between these two superstars would certainly be one of the highlights of the show, and should be something that the company must consider for the event.
The biggest surprise on this card is the match between Undertaker and John Cena. The Undertaker reportedly retired at last year’s Wrestlemania, after he lost to Roman Reigns in the main event.
While Cena and Undertaker would definitely be a dream match for the WWE Universe, the chances of it happening are slim, as Taker does not look to be in any sort of shape for a match of that magnitude.
But then again, anything can happen in the WWE!
