The fans and listeners have applauded Moxley’s interview for being brutally honest without sounding bitter and giving them an insight of the WWE from a wrestler’s perspective.
The former WWE superstar opened up on his time working for the WWE. He expressed gratitude to the company for helping him grow, both as a performer and as a person. He spoke dearly of the wrestlers in the company and said that if nothing, it would always be the place where he first met his wife.
The Burial of WWE
After that though, Moxley tore through the company. He told Jericho that after his wife, Wrestling was the love of his life and the WWE had beaten that love out of him. Moxley had an animated conversation with Jericho about his injury, his return, his heel turn and the point where he knew he was leaving the company. He also expressed disgust over WWE exploiting Roman’s illness and how he felt like the WWE tried to bury him on his way out.
To Jericho’s credit, the veteran allowed Moxley to vent his frustrations without interrupting him. Moxley on his part, took the opportunity with both hands to get everything off of his chest.

Moxley expressed happiness for his future now that he had creative control over his character. He hoped that AEW’s drive and determination to produce something great would force WWE to change their ways.
However, he remained doubtful and said that the WWE was set in its ways as long as Vince was in charge and that the ‘Old man’ would die in the chair.
