Jose Mourinho drops massive praises for Dele Alli after West Ham win in his first game in charge

Jose Mourinho drops massive praises for Dele Alli after Tottenham Hotspur win against West Ham in his first game in charge for the club.

Jose Mourinho won his first game for Tottenham Hotspur against West Ham by 3-2 after his shocking appointment a few days ago as the head coach of the North London team.

Under his charge, the team looked sharp and were phenomenal in the first 60 minutes of the game, which allowed them to score 3 goals in the beginning. Although, a late fight by the Hammers ended the score in 3-2. Even Mourinho admitted Spurs brilliant game-play during these minutes.

“I really enjoyed our first 60 minutes. The most important thing was to win. I spent some time with Dele and we said the best Dele has to come back!”

It was a good game by Spurs considering they lost their last manager a few days ago and it only gave them a little window to settle under the charge of the Portuguese manager.

Despite it, Mourinho told in the press conference that he was happy with his squad performance, and when asked about Dele Alli’s performance, he was full of praises about his young midfielder.

“I spent some time with Dele in training and we said the best Dele has to come back! He’s too good to not be in the national team, not to be an important player for Spurs, not to be one of the best players in the world,” said Mourinho on Alli.

Undoubtedly, Alli had a good game and he was seen enjoying the game after a long while, as under Pochettino he had very less number of minutes due to his fitness concerns.

The English International was seen making efforts for his team, he even made an impressive flick to keep the ball in the game, which eventually resulted in second goal for the North London club.
