Jose Mourinho on Real Madrid rumors: The Portuguese manager spoke on speculations regarding his move to Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho attempts to bring Manchester United’s season back on track, and the intent has been positive in their last two games. The side came from behind to win 3-2 against Newcastle, and held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw, coming from 1-0 down.
Manchester United were on the verge of a historic win at Stamford Bridge, but their lead was canceled in the last minute of the game.
The Old Trafford side will now face Italian champions Juventus in the Champions League. Manchester United are currently 2nd in their group and will aim for the top spot with a win at Old Trafford.
The game will also see the return of former United star Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford.
Before the game, however, Spanish outlet El Chiringuito reported that Real Madrid are keen on replacing Lopetegui with Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese has now responded to the claims.

The Manchester United manager talked to media for the pre-match press conference. Jose Mourinho has insisted that he will not be leaving the English club.
“No, I’m happy here, I’m happy to see out my contract and I’d like to stay after my contract runs out. All I’m thinking about is Manchester United,” Mourinho said.
Mourinho on Cristiano Ronaldo, “I thought Cristiano is in a level where he doesn’t need questions and answers. He’s one of the best players of all time and nobody can say differently.”

Jose Mourinho has formerly been the manager of Real Madrid for three seasons. He led the Spanish side to La Liga triumph in his second season at the club, but failed to lead them to Champions League glory.
Mourinho on Antonio Valencia absence, “The reason was he was 10 days without problem due to a problem he had, very complicated surgery on his mouth. He needed a little bit of time to recover.”

Mourinho also took a dig at Spanish journalists, stating that they were only here to ask questions about Real Madrid.
“I don’t like this press conference,” Mourinho said. “No. I don’t want to speak about Pogba, I don’t want to speak about individuals. I don’t want to speak to Spanish journalists only interested in Real Madrid.”
Mourinho on Juventus being favourites to win the CL, “Bonucci, they have Cancelo and they have Can and there are other important additions. Juventus have a lot to offer and an extra year experience with the same coach and structure.”

What next?
Manchester United will take on Juventus on Tuesday night. Juventus received a setback before the game as their forward Mario Mandzukic has been ruled out of the match.
