Juan Foyth red card vs Bournemouth: Tottenham receive second red card for horrendous leg breaking tackle on Bournemouth’s Simpson
Tottenham Hotspur are playing some ugly football this weekend, having received their second red card of the game vs Bournemouth. With Son having already been sent off in the first half for a silly shove on Lerma, one would have assumed that the players would maintain better discipline in the second half.
But the half time talk seems to have spurred the players on a little more, as substitute Juan Foyth too was shown a straight red for a horrendous leg breaking tackle.
The Tottenham youngster was carrying the ball upfront, trying to get a Spurs move going, when his touch got a little wayward, pushing the ball a little too away from him.
In order to get the ball under control, Foyth then dished out an insane two footed, studs up tackle to take Simpson out.

Juan Foyth actually came on in the 46th minute and lasted just 2 minutes on the pitch, before dishing out that crazy, crazy tackle. Tottenham are now down to 9 men, but surprisingly are still able to get men forward and pull of some attacking moves. Pocchetino would now be hoping that the team can get away with a draw, something that absolutely shouldn’t happen from a Bournemouth perspective.
