Kylian Mbappe on Man Utd: Paris Saint Germain will take on Manchester United in the Champions League round-of-16.

Manchester United have been in fine form since the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The side is yet to lose a game and have dropped points only once in ten games under his charge.

United climbed to the fifth position in the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Leicester City last night. However, Solskjaer is far from being complacent as the side faces a series of tough fixtures in the next few weeks.

The interim manager travelled to France to attend PSG’s game against Lyon hours after United’s win over Leicester, as the side prepares for the Champions League’s round-of-16 tie.

However, Kylian Mbappe, the star forward of the French outfit, has now issued a strong message over the game against Manchester United in the Champions League.

Kylian Mbappe on Man Utd:

Paris Saint Germain faced a stunning 2-1 defeat against Lyon in the Ligue 1 last night. This was their first loss in the league this season.

However, the 20-year-old PSG star stated that he isn’t worried about the Manchester United clash as Solskjaer watched the game from the stands.

“I’m not worried about the Champions League match,” Mbappe said. “We must take it match by match and wait for the Champions League.

“It feels good to play matches like that. Facing teams that play good football is the best way to prepare for the upcoming deadlines. It’s up to us to win.”

The forward also admitted that Neymar’s absence has arrived as a blow to the side. The Brazilian forward has been ruled out for ten weeks with a metatarsal injury.

The goal was to remain undefeated and we will try not to lose again by the end of the season. It’s complicated, yes, to play without Neymar. You must accept it.

“Last season, he was also injured and it would be nice not to make the same mistakes, otherwise it would mean that we did not learn anything.”

Angel di Maria opened the goalscoring for PSG in the game against Lyon, but the home side pulled out a spectacular comeback as goals from Dembele and Nabil Fekir ensured Lyon’s victory in the game.

The first leg of the Champions League tie between United and PSG will be played at Old Trafford on February 12.
