Barcelona and Real Madrid are among the rare teams to have a rich history in the apex European competition, with both the clubs also dominating the recent editions until Liverpool ended their winning streak.

Yet, both the teams are always considered among the favourites to win the tie. Hence, there opponents usually have a tough night to outbeat them.
