Jurgen Klopp: Liverpool Manager gives a massive statement on links with Juventus by rubbishing the speculations of leaving the Reds.
The Liverpool manager has become the hottest property in the market after bringing Liverpool back to the pinnacle of European competition.
The Merseyside club will play the Champions league final after 12 years and will face Tottenham Hotspurs. Additionally, the German manager is also praised for having a nail-biting Premier league race with Manchester City, as the reds became the first side to lose the English league even after securing 97 points on table.
Thus, considering the red-hot form of Liverpool have made them favourites to win against Tottenham in Madrid. Hence, Liverpool’s resurgence have made Klopp being targeted by various top clubs in Europe.
Therefore, Juventus is one such club interested in hiring the services of Klopp from Liverpool after the Turin based club sacked Massimiliano Allegri last week.
Since, Pavel Nedved is seeking a world-class manager for the vacant role at the club as they wish to win the next edition of the Champions league, which limits the options of Juventus’ vice-chairman.
Already, the Italian club has failed to bring Pep Guardiola. Further, it will be another setback for Juventus, as according to SkySports, Liverpool’s manager has denied the speculations.
“Yes, of course Serie A is very attractive as a championship. There is nothing true, however, in the rumours that would tie me to Juventus.” Klopp said to SkySports.
“I hear some journalists talking about it but it’s b*******. Italy is beautiful, I do not know the atmosphere of the games, however, because I have seen the matches only on television.
“Sometimes even without sound because I am only interested in the game and other aspects. Certainly Serie A is an attractive league.” he further said.
Meanwhile, Juventus are still seeking a manager and would now choose among Maurizio Sarri and Filippo Inzaghi, who are at the forefront to sign with the Old Lady.
