Juventus aim to bring in Pep Guardiola and make Liverpool star his first signing
Juventus aim to bring in Pep Guardiola and make Liverpool star his first signing. The club are convinced that the Spaniard is their missing link.
Despite Juventus winning more games than any other team in the Serie A, they are second on the table having lost more times than current leaders Inter Milan. The club are genuinely worried that Maurizio Sarri could blow a record ninth in a row Serie A title win.

Juventus are also chasing their first Champions League title since 1996 and club president Andrea Agnelli believes that current Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, is the missing link. It is to this end, that the Turin based side will allow him to name his terms with ‘money no object’ regarding both his wages and potential transfer budget.

Andrea [Agnelli, Juve chief] thinks Guardiola will want to come to Italy when it is time to leave England” A Juventus source told The Sun.
“Andrea thinks Guardiola will want to come to Italy when it is time to leave England” Said another source.
“The question is whether this is the time but he will do everything he can to make it possible.”
The same publication claims that Juve are reportedly willing to splash £150 million on Liverpool’s star defender Virgil Van Dijk. A Juventus Insider reportedly explained that the Dutchman could seek a ‘new challenge’ next season.
“After winning a bagful of trophies with Liverpool, Juventus think he may be ready for a new challenge at the end of the season – especially as he’s been playing in the UK for a few years.
“And the club are actively planning to make a huge bid for him in the summer.”
Juventus tried to bring in Pep Guardiola last summer as well. However, they eventually ended up signing Maurizio Sarri instead. Less than a year later, the club seems to be regretting their decision and a failure to win the Serie A could see them part ways. Unless, the Italian ends up winning them the elusive Champions League.
