Kamran Akmal drops easy catch in PSL and fans troll him to the limit for this moment of madness versus Quetta Gladiators

Kamran Akmal’s drops have been (in)famous for a long time now, with the Pakistan wicketkeeper often trolled for dropping sitters behind the stumps.

Having been axed from the Pakistan national team, PSL is the one true global tournament where fans get to see him ply his trade again. And while his batting has improved tremendously, especially on home soil, his wicketkeeping still raises a few eyebrows.

And that is exactly what happened last night during the PSL when Peshawar Zalmi took on the Quetta Gladiators.

The incident happened in the penultimate over of the Quetta innings, with the game already in the bag for Peshawar, but still made for funny viewing, especially for fans who have seen Kamran doing this all their life in the international circuit.

Sohail Khan had gone in for a massive heave over midwicket, managing to only top edge the ball, with the Kamran settling down comfortably under the skier. However, what should have been an easy catch for the man with the gloves, ended up being a moment of madness, as Kamran, who looked a little casual, ended up spilling it

The former Pakistan wicketkeeper is having a renaissance of sorts with the bat this season, having romped up yet another century in the PSL, but his wicketkeeping skills need to improve by leaps and bounds.

And Twitter wasted no time in letting Kamran know that, with trolls coming from left, right and centre, berating the Peshawar man for yet another blunder with the gloves.

Do you think Kamran Akmal can make a comeback into the Pakistan limited overs team?
