In the 37th over of the Pakistani innings, Kartik Tyagi was tasked with continuing India’s good show with the ball. With 5 wickets down, Pakistan were already under pressure and Tyagi’s job was to not let them off the hook. He responded by bowling an unplayable yorker that went past the batsman and crashed his off stump.

Pakistan ended their innings with 172 on the board. This would prove to be a below par score as India made easy work of the total. Pakistan looked threatening at the start of the Indian innings. However, once Yashavi Jaiswal and Divyansh Saxena got their eyes in, they became immovable.

The pair completed the victory in the 36th over, handing India a 10-wicket win over their arch rivals. Saxena scored 59 of 99 balls while Yashavi posted his maiden century, scoring 105 of 113 balls. The side are now just one win away from World Cup glory.
