Kevin Owens: WWE Superstar banned from attending live events

Kevin Owens: WWE Superstar banned from attending live events after his rant against Shane McMahon on the last episode of SmackDown live.

Kevin Owens has been the talk of the town lately when it comes to the WWE Universe. The former Universal Champion spoke for everybody in the WWE roster when he berated Shane McMahon for calling himself the best in the world. However, the wrestler now has to pay the price for his recalcitrance.

WWE have posted a video of Owens where he reveals that he has been banned from Live Events by Shane McMahon. Owens then announced that he would be there in Philadelphia on Sunday and would turn Extreme Rules into the Kevin Owens Show. Owens claimed that he was the opposite of Shane and called himself the Worst in the world before threatening to ruin Shane’s night.

Could this all lead to a Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler match like the reports suggest? Or will Owens find his way in to the high-profile tag team match between the Undertaker and Roman Reigns vs Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.

One thing is for certain though and that is a Kevin Owens highjack. It will be interesting to see how the WWE weaves this into their ongoing storylines and where they go from here as they head to one of their biggest Pay per views next; SummerSlam.

Extreme Rules will take place on July 14, 2019, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It will stream live on the WWE network.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
