WWE Horror Show at Extreme Rules Predictions, Stipulations and Rumours

Let us take a look at all the WWE Horror Show at Extreme Rules Predictions, Stipulations and Rumours. The pay-per-view will take place this Sunday.

The WWE will air Extreme Rules this Sunday. The pay per view, as its name suggests, will feature matches with brutal match stipulations. The event has been rebranded this year as the Horror Show at Extreme Rules, keeping in line with the Bray Wyatt vs Braun Strowman’s non-title clash.

There are 7 matches booked on the card so far. 5 of which are title defences. Both the Women’s Titles will be on the line. However, only one each of the Men’s World and Secondary titles will be defended. The WWE and United States Championships will be at stake at Extreme Rules. The SmackDown Tag team titles will be the only SmackDown men’s title to feature at the event,

With that out of the way, let us now take a look at all the WWE Horror Show at Extreme Rules Predictions, Stipulations and Rumours.

Braun Strowman © vs Bray Wyatt (Wyatt Swamp Fight, non-title match)

According to reports the match is set to feature reptiles such as an Alligator and a Snake. The match is also reported to have an ending straight out of Friday the 13th. Seeing how all this is in line with the theme, it is very likely that Braun Strowman vs Bray Wyatt will end up being the main event.

The bout will pit the former leader and follower against each other.  Because of it being a non-title match, it is likely that Bray Wyatt will triumph over the Universal Champion setting up a future clash. With both of them sharing a win, the last match could be the blow off to the feud,

Drew McIntyre © vs Dolph Ziggler (WWE Title Match, Stipulation yet to be decided)

Another match on the cards that pits former friends turned foes. McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship against former Tag Team partner Dolph Ziggler. The challenger will reveal the stipulation on the night of the match.

Considering how Ziggler is yet to stand tall once against McIntyre since challenging for the title, it is very unlikely he will come out of Extreme Rules as the champion. However, both of them are pedigreed performers and could easily steal the show if the WWE allows them to.

Seth Rollins vs Rey Mysterio (Eye for an Eye)

Arguably the most bizarre of all matches announced. Don’t get us wrong, both Rollins and Mysterio are amazing wrestlers and will undoubtedly produce another amazing performance when they get together in the ring. However, it is the stipulation that has raised some eyebrows.

The WWE has confirmed that the match will end when one fighter pulls out the other’s eyeball with their hands. Considering this could be Mysterio’s last match, it is likely that Rollins will come out the victor in this rather unique bout.

Asuka © vs Sasha Banks (WWE RAW Women’s Championship)

There is no stipulation in this match. The match will be a bell to bell wrestling match for the RAW women’s championship as Sasha Banks aims to emulate her tag team partner Bailey and carry two titles with her as well.

Asuka, who has recently seen off challenges from Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair is likely to retain the title with reports suggesting that Vince McMahon wants to build the women’s division around the ‘Empress of Tomorrow’.

Bayley © vs Nikki Cross (WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship)

Yet another match with no stipulation, Bayley will defend her SmackDown Women’s title against no.1 contender Nikki Cross. This match has been strangely booked in the sense that Bayley has been more focussed on Banks’ business with Asuka on RAW then she has with Cross on SmackDown. At one point, we’ve even had Cross doubt if she can prise the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Bayley.

It is likely that Bayley will come out of the event with both her titles intact. However, Cross could still end up looking strong and leave the match in a better position within the women’s division than she is in currently.

Apollo Crews © vs MVP (United States Championship)

MVP does not take kindly to rejections. After failing to recruit Crews in his stable, he has since decided to make his life a living hell. After beating Crews in a non-title match, he unveiled a new United States Championship and declared himself the new Champion.

While Crews should come out the victor, with Lashley in his corner, MVP will likely win. There are reports of MVP wanting a stable of his own involving Lashley, Crews and Shelton Benjamin. This match could be used by the WWE for MVP to recruit Crews.

The New Day © vs Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro (SmackDown Tag Team Championship, Tables match)

The last match added to the card, the SmackDown tag team titles will finally be featured in a pay-per-view after quite a while. The New Day will take on Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro in a table match after the latter beat Big E in singles action.

A title change could be on the cards given the recent momentum gathered by Nakamura and Cesaro. However, the WWE could very well save the title change for SummerSlam which is due next month.

This were all the WWE Horror Show at Extreme Rules Predictions, Stipulations and Rumours.
