KHT vs RAR Dream11 Prediction
After battling it out in the group stages, it was Khulna Tigers and Rajshahi Royals who finished the group at the top two positions and will fight it out in the 1st qualifier slated to be played at the Sher-e Bangla Stadium in a few hours from now. Both Khulna Tigers and Royals have won 8 matches each out of 12 attempts and we should be in for a riveting contest later today. Both these teams have some exceptional players in their ranks and will look to directly qualify through to the final.
Khulna Tigers boasts of a sensational batting line-up including the likes of Rilee Rossouw and Mushfiqur Rahim who has been among the leading run-getters in the tournament so far. On the back of their batting performances, Khulna Tigers have finished the group stage at the No 1 position. The bowling attack has also done an admirable job and will look to keep up the good work.
On the other hand, Rajshahi Royals have also played an exceptional brand of cricket in the tournament so far. The likes of Andre Russell and Shoaib Malik will look to make a match-winning impact on a big day. The batters have risen to the occasion more often than not. However, one area where Royals need to find a way to get better is the bowling department. They have leaked runs and it has only been their batting which has helped them overcome some stiff targets.
Pitch Conditions and Toss
The Sher-e Bangla Stadium in Dhaka has predominantly produced sporting wickets. However, in the last few days, the pitch has been relatively on the slower side and batting hasn’t been pretty easy. The team winning the toss could be in dilemma about their choice. However, given the slowness of the pitch, batting first could be a wise option.

The undisputed wicket-keeper in our dream XI team will be Mushfiqur Rahim. He has been a consistent run-scorer in the tournament so far and will look to continue his good run in the tournament especially in the all-important clash. He is the 2nd highest run-getter in the tournament so far with 459 runs under his belt in 12 matches.
Rilee Rossouw and Afif Hossain will be the first two batters in our dream XI team. Rossouw has been in superb touch and is currently the leading run-scorer in the tournament. The southpaw has amassed 458 runs and will look to make an impact in the all-important clash. Afif Hossain is also having a great season with the bat having scored 347 in 11 matches. Both these batsmen should be automatic picks in your dream XI team.
Najmul Hossain Shanto and Shamsur Rahman will be the next two batters in our dream XI team. Shanto was at his ominous best in the previous clash against the Dhaka Platoon. The youngster smashed an unbeaten 115 and took the Platoon attack to the sword. On the other hand, Shamsur Rahman hasn’t had the greatest of seasons so far. However, there was no other option given the combination of other players.
The three all-rounders in our dream Xi team will be Andre Russell, Robbie Frylinck and Ravi Bopara. Russell hasn’t been in the best of touches but given the impact, this has made in this format, it will be pretty hard to leave him out. Infact he could be the captain of the side, especially on such a big day.
Frylinck has bagged 8 wickets in the last 3 matches and would look to keep up the good work. He has also played some gusty knocks lower down the order. On the other hand, Ravi Bopara hasn’t got enough chances in the recent past. However, given his experience and talent, Bopara might come in pretty handy in an important encounter.
Mohammad Amir, Aliss Islam and Farhad Reza will be the three bowlers in our dream XI team. Amir has been a consistent wicket-taker and we might witness a magical spell from him today. Aliss Islam is a relatively unknown name who has impressed all and sundry. Meanwhile, Farhad Reza has been among the wickets and should be a sensible pick in our dream XI team.
Captain and Vice-captain
Andre Russell will be the captain of the day while Rilee Rossouw will be the vice-captain.
