Dave in the video talked about the death of Kobe Bryant and how it affected him. Dave received his Grammy on the same day when Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crashed resulting in the death of Kobe Bryant and 8 others. He shared why he didn’t go to the Grammy grant capacity to get the honor since he couldn’t beat Kobe’s passing.

Dave in his video said “ I loved Kobe Byrant. He died the day I won a Grammy.that’s why I didn’t show up at the Grammys. They had both his jersey number hanging up. 8, 24 well that’s my birthday. I cried like a baby.”

The comedian discussed about the police brutality that caused George Floyd’s death, Kobe Bryant’s tragedy, and the hypocrisy of conservative TV host Laura Ingraham.

Chappelle claimed that in 2016 when several police officers were murdered, the country did not decent into riots because at the same time Kobe Bryant was playing his final game against Utah Jazz in which he famously scored 60 points.
