After a terrific home season, team India will head to South Africa in one of the most eagerly anticipated tours in recent memory.

One of the very few drawbacks to MS Dhoni’s tenure as India captain was his abysmal test record in oversees conditions. For whatever reason, Dhoni’s troops would always get mauled in England and Australia as the lack of a quality bowling attack hurt the Indian team over the last decade.
But with the likes of Bhuvi, Ashwin, Jadeja, Umesh, Ishant, Shami and Pandya the Indian attack looks as good as it has done in years. So it’s suffice to say that the expectations are high for Kohli and his men as they look set to conquer South Africa in early 2018.

Before they start their voyage though, Kohli and Dhoni will meet with the Committee of Administrators and discuss the terms and conditions for their contract renewals.
“These players requested Rai to call them for a meeting as they have few issues to discuss before going to South Africa. So the BCCI has called three of them. As third Test is starting on December 2, New Delhi has been chosen as the venue for the meeting. The major issues is the hike in players’ contract,” a BCCI official said.
“Indian board has the habit of putting a series whenever they find a gap in their calendar. Players don’t want that and want to discuss it with the CoA,” the source added.
With Kohli recently mentioning that the team was unhappy about the lack of time between the Sri Lanka series and South African series, there is clearly a lot of things that need to be clarified between all parties concerned.
