Ever since he came back to the company last year, Kurt Angle’s much anticipated in-ring return was something that the WWE Universe was eagerly looking forward to.

While a sudden change in plans saw Angle compete in the recently concluded TLC PPV, the WWE were smart in their booking of him in that match. First of all, Angle came out in Shield gear which was wise considering how this was not meant to be his real return.

Secondly, Ambrose and Rollins took charge of the match and protected Angle for the most part. While Angle did pull out an Angle Slam and joined in the Shield Bomb, we did not get to see some of his vintage moves from the past.

But the WWE Universe need not fret, as Angle is all set to play a play major part in next year’s Wrestlemania. Angle recently posted images of him getting his gear made, which strongly hints that his comeback will certainly on the way.

As of now, it looks like Triple H will return to face Angle at ‘Mania, in a match that will decide who will become the new GM of Monday Night Raw.

Angle and Triple H had a tremendous rivalry back in the day, and the pair could certainly bring back some memories if the WWE does indeed want to go with this.

After so many injuries, Angle will certainly not be at his physical best, which is why having a safe performer like Triple H would make the match a little bit easier for him as well.

Eventually the fans will win as the idea of seeing these two legends at ‘Mania is something that everyone can get behind!
