WWE announce Title Match for next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The match was made official on this week’s episode of Talking Smack.
This week’s episode of SmackDown featured the SmackDown Women’s Championship match between Bianca Belair and Carmella. The match was originally supposed to take place between Belair and Bayley at Money in the Bank. However, an injury to the latter forced a change of plans.
Belair beat Carmella after whipping her with her hair and then pinning her following a Kiss of Death for the victory. After the match Carmella complained that six days was not enough to prepare for a match of this magnitude and demanded a rematch.

On this week’s episode of Talking Smack, Kayla Braxton spoke with Belair about what Carmella had to say. Belair proceeded to announce that she was up for a rematch.
“Typical Carmella. She had six days to prepare. People love to go on Twitter and talk about how they’re not bothered when they are, which is fine. She got in the ring with me tonight, so, all I can say is I’m a fighting champion and I don’t back down from anything. If she wants a rematch, let’s do it again next week. I’m all for it. Let’s do it. I’m saying, be careful what you ask for because now I’m granting it to Carmella, next week.”
Moments later, Talking Smack host Kevin Patrick announced that the match had been made official.
