It’s what served them fruitfully at the end of the match on a batting friendly Indian Association Ground which came to birth in the cricketing fraternity for the first time ever.
Elsewhere for Kuwait, the opening fixture shaped out as one would have expected. Taking on a Malaysia side much superior to them, the side were bundled out for 120 in their pursuit of 163, going down by 43 runs to occupy last place in the league standings.
Today’s second encounter of the day sees these two sides in play with Singapore going in with the clear agenda of making it two straight wins and continuing in their quest of nailing down the lone spot the tournament brings with it to the next qualification process.

Given both these sides’ performance in their opening matches of the marquee event, there is one clear winner which emerges from this encounter. The hosts are just way too superior to Kuwait and should register an extremely comprehensive win.
