Newcastle goal Vs Liverpool: Watch Jetro Willems scoring a thunderous strike against the Reds to make it 1-0 at the Anfield.

Liverpool are back in action against Newcastle United after a brief International break. However, the Reds face a setback in the initial moments of their game against the Toons.

Jetro Williams of Newcastle United scored a sensational goal against Liverpool to gain a 1-0 lead against the European giants on the game-week 5.

It was a moment of negligence by Liverpool, as Christian Atsu caused problems to Liverpool’s defence after drifting inside while receiving a long ball. This dribble by Atsu compelled Trent Arnold Alexander to drift inside with Atsu.

This gives space to Atsu to slip the ball on the left for Williems. The Newcastle left-back drits inside with an excellent piece of skill and thumps the shot to the top-right corner, making no scope for Adrian to stop the goal.

With this goal, the Reds are at a backfoot at their own home, but a lot of minutes are left in this game, and Liverpool can still make a comeback before the 90 minutes end.

However, the Merseyside club was not expected to struggle against Newcastle United, as their recent winning spree in the Premier League made them favourites against the vulnerable Newcastle United.

Although, this is not for the first time when Newcastle United are set to make an upset in the league this season, as they previously stunned Tottenham Hotspurs by defeating them 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium.

Now, the Toons have to further attack the Reds to pressurize them and in order to gain three points from this fixture.
