Lacazette on Fellaini hair-pull: The Arsenal forward has commented on Fellaini’s hair-pull on Matteo Guendouzi.
Arsenal played a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford against Manchester United. The side has dropped out of top four again, and is currently 5th in the league table.
Arsenal led the game twice, but conceded sloppy goals almost immediately as United held Arsenal to a draw. Shkodran Mustafi opened the goalscoring for Arsenal, while Marcos Rojo scored an own goal to give the Gunners a lead again.
The match was marred by multiple fouls, but one of them stood out due to its apparent absurdity and the players involved. Marouane Fellaini pulled Matteo Guendouzi’s hair to bring him down in the later stages of the game.
While the referee took no action on Fellaini, Alexandre Lacazette reacted to the foul on his social media channel.

The foul instantly became one of the talking points of the game, with various criticising the referee for not taking action on Fellaini. Many, meanwhile, made trolls and memes on the foul.
Lacazette also reacted to the foul on his Instagram. In a post which asked people to caption about the foul made by Fellaini, Lacazette wrote, “#WhysManDoingThis.”
The hashtag has been consistently used by Arsenal players this season, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in particular.
Manchester United, however, succeeded in resisting Arsenal in the final minutes of the game, as the sides shared points on the night.

Arsenal will now take on Huddersfield at the Emirates Stadium, where they will aim to return to the winning ways, and close the gap with their fellow London clubs, Tottenham and Chelsea.
While Tottenham recovered in emphatic fashion from their 4-2 loss to Arsenal in season’s first North London derby, Chelsea suffered a shock loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are 8 points behind the top four after the end of 15 games in the league.
