“LeBron James Was Like ‘Shump! Corner! Now!!”: When Iman Shumpert’s Manhood Was Challenged In Cleveland
LeBron James is one of the greatest players in NBA history. The man has achieved so much in his 20-year career in the league.
There are many reasons for his success, the primary among them being his many many skills. After all, four NBA championships aren’t easy to come by.
His scoring, passing, and basketball IQ have all helped him come this far. But, his leadership is what has taken his teams to the next level. Although, there are times when his leadership skills can make his teammates feel emasculated.
LeBron James once ordered Iman Shumpert around challenging the guard’s manhood
LeBron James is quite the commanding player on any team. After all, given his achievements, he is more often than not the best and most experienced on any team he is on.
However, there are times when his leadership can be taken in the wrong way. Like when he instructed Iman Shumpert in such a manner that it made the guard feel as though his manhood had been challenged.
“He said, ‘Shump! Corner! Now!’,…Cleveland is quiet as hell and I’m like, ‘Bro! If I react, I’m the most selfish person on the earth!’, I’m like, ‘I don’t know if he realized how he just said this, but I don’t like being talked to like that.’ But he said it with so much command. Like if he wasn’t talking to me I would have been proud of him like, ‘Yeah man you took control!’, but he was talking to me so I wasn’t rolling. But yeah I ended up doing it, but I did drag my feet and for that, I apologize. But, as a man, I didn’t know how to deal with that!”
It must have been an experience for Shumpert, being talked to like that. But, given the outcome, he probably isn’t too bothered by it.
He may have been emasculated but Iman Shumpert won an NBA championship thanks to LeBron’s leadership
Iman Shumpert may not have been a big fan of King James’ commands, but in the long scheme of things everything worked out. After all, Shump won his first and only ring thanks to LeBron’s leadership.

Whether he knows it or not, LeBron would never aim to hurt his teammates. The man just wants to win, and that is something he does in spades.
