In the 23rd minute of the match, Lionel Messi carried the ball into the box. Marked by about 4 Napoli players, Messi fell twice. However, he remained tenacious and latched on to the ball before he sent the ball into the far corner with a beautiful curling shot.

Earlier in the match, Clement Lenglet scored Barcelona’s first goal with a header after finding himself free as a bird. Luis Suarez seems to have put the game beyond the visitors after a Messi foul by Koulibaly in the box handed the Bluagrana a penalty in the dying minutes of the first half.

Suarez made no mistake to take Barcelona’s score to 3 before Napoli pulled one in through a penalty of their one with Lorenzo Insigne scoring from the spot.

At the time of writing, the scoreline reads 3-1 in Barcelona’s favour at half-time, The two teams played a 1-1 draw in their first encounter when the Italian side hosted the Catalonian side. The aggregate score reads 4-2 with both sides scoring an away goal each.

Barcelona would fancy themselves to win but would be aware that two more goals from Napoli would see them exit the Champions league in dramatic fashion yet again. Regardless, there’s still 45 minutes left to continue what has been an excellent and eventful Champions League clash.
