Ronaldinho demanded twice-a-week party clause in contract with a club

Ronaldinho demanded a twice-a-week party clause from Flamengo, when he signed for the Brazilian outfit back in the 2011 from AC Milan.

Ronaldinho is among the most loved footballers to ever grace the game, with his skillful game and wide smile, even the rival fans got compelled to adore him.

However, it is often claimed that the Former Brazilian International spoiled his career due to over-influence of night life during his peak years, which speculatively shortened his prime years.

Even Alexander Hleb went to an extent saying that Barcelona sold Ronaldinho and Deco to save Lionel Messi from their drinking influence.

However, this never let Ronaldinho to stop his night life, according to a report by the Sportbible, Ronaldinho wanted to add a clause in his contract with Flamengo, where he was allowed to party twice a week.

The 39-year-old superstar was known for his admiration for the Italian night life during his tenure at AC Milan, and he further reportedly wanted to continue with same partying style upon his return to Brazil.

The Brazilian club accepted his demands before signing him in 2011, then Ronaldinho went onto play for the side until 2012, and appeared for them in 33 matches.

The World Cup winner was once even criticized for his discipline and drinking habits in AC Milan, as Paolo, who was a season ticket holder at the San Siro, told Bleacher Report in 2017.

“Win, lose, play well, play badly — Ronaldinho didn’t care. He would still find a party and enjoy himself long into the night, We loved him at Milan, but he hurt himself and his career, never worried who saw him.” he said.

The Brazilian International declared his retirement from the professional football after having a successful career for National team and club level, and indeed went down as a legend of the game.
