Lionel Messi inexplicably missed a tap in during the El Clasico

Lionel Messi inexplicably missed a tap in during the El Clasico. Barcelona and Real Madrid ended up playing a goalless draw at the Camp Nou.

The first El Clasico of the season ended with a tame draw as neither side could find the back of the net. There were some good performances from both sides but the sides couldn’t be separated at the end of 90 minutes. Although, Barcelona had the perfect opportunity to take the lead and 3 points from the match. Unfortunately, Lionel Messi struggled with the chance and made a mess of it.

In the 60th minute of the match, Barcelona forwards managed to get the ball inside Real Madrid’s box. Antoine Griezmann then set up Messi with a close-range pass. All the Argentine had to do was connect with the ball and send it straight.

The Barca ace however, completely failed to connect with the ball. The ball escaped him after his disappointing attempt and he tried his best to salvage the situation but it was all too late by then. Real Madrid managed to escape by a whisker.
