LIV Vs NOR Dream11 team prediction: Liverpool Vs Norwich City Dream 11 team and picks for Premier league opening game

LIV Vs NOR Dream11 team prediction: Liverpool Vs Norwich City dream 11 team and picks for the first game of the premier league 2019/20.

Liverpool will face Norwich City in the opening clash of the Premier League to start their pursuit for the league title, as the Reds are one of the favourites to win the league this year.

On the other hand, newly promoted Norwich City failed to have a great outing to the Anfield in the past few visits. Moreover, Liverpool are undefeated in the last 12 encounters against Norwich City, but the Canaries are looking sharp, as their attack looks lethal headed by Teemu Pukki is set to make upsets.

The Reds probably will be without their star forward Sadio Mane, as he has recently reported from his pre-season holidays and will probably start a replacement.

Whereas, Norwich City will be without Christoph Zimmermann, Alex Tettey and Louis Thompson for the season opener, although the trio is expected to be back in the training this month. Additionally, Timm Klose is also doubtful for the game tonight.

Last time when both the sides me in 2016, a lot has changed since then, with Liverpool looking even more balanced and strong, Norwich City are the obvious underdogs in the game.

However, Norwich City can surprise the Reds tonight, but with the ambition of winning the league title this time, Liverpool can be unstoppable in this game.

Liverpool Vs Norwich City

Formation: 4-4-2

Goalkeeper

Alisson Becker: Last season’s premier league winner is a sure shot inclusion in this lineup, as his positioning sense in front of the goal is impeccable, which helps him to deny goals to the opposition. Moreover, Liverpool’s dynamic defence line headed by Virgil Van Dijk makes him less prone to concede goals.

Defenders

Andrew Robertson: The Scottish left-back had a spectacular last season with the Reds, as he was instrumental in Liverpool’s Champions League reign. His pinpoint crossing has been mostly converted into goals. Moreover, in fantasy games, he is among the highest-scoring defender. Hence, a reliable option at the back to gather points.

Virgil Van Dijk: If Van Dijk is available, you must have to take him, as currently the best defender in the world had a Ballon D’or winning worthy campaign last season. His incredible record of not been dribble past still stands after 65 games, which says enough about his inclusion.

Trent Alexander Arnold: The other fullback in Liverpool also had a great season, and is known for his attacking flair and effective crossing in the 18-yard-box. Liverpool’s one of the biggest strengths are its fullbacks, and one can rely on them to fetch points through the defence.

Sam Byram: Norwich City defensive system did not provide many options to pick in our dream 11 lineup. However, Sam Byram is a reasonable pick in this lineup, as he is a consistent performer, and can provide points from the right-wing. Moreover, since Norwich City are expected to be outscored by Liverpool, there is no point in relying on someone else in the Canaries’ defence.

Midfielders

Georginio Wijnaldum: Since Sadio Mane is doubtful to start tonight, Georginio Wijnaldum is expected to start tonight ahead of the Senagalese International. There is no doubt that Wijnaldum has provided goals to the Reds in the recent encounters, and will be a key tonight, as he will probably play an advanced role to fill Mane’s gap.

Mohamed Salah: Salah is probably the best player on the pitch tonight and has to be included in the team and since non-inclusion of Mane is saving us money, Salah will easily fit in the budget. The Egyptian player is the primary goal scorer for Liverpool and will be our captain tonight.

Onel Hernandez: Hernandez will probably play on the left-wing for Norwich City, and in comparison to Van Dijk and Robertson’s partnership, Alexander Arnold and Joel Matip/ Joseph Gomez’s duo is weaker, so the Canaries have a chance to make damage from this side.

Marco Stiepermann: Stiepermann will probably start behind Teemu Pukki, as an attacking midfielder, and has been phenomenal since a significant period of time, and can provide us crucial points either by providing assists or goals.

Forwards

Roberto Firmino: Firmino will be a sure starter tonight against Norwich City. The Brazilian International has been crucial for the Reds ever since Jurgen Klopp arrived at the Anfield. Even though his stats don’t speak for him but he is a selfless lieutenant for Liverpool, and since the Kopites have better odds to outscore the Reds, Firmino is a must pick.

Teemu Pukki: The Finnish International has been a phenomenal inclusion in Norwich City’s lineup last summer, and took the Canaries by storm from the Championship to the Premier League by scoring a 30-goal haul last season. The 29-year-old is a major threat to the host, and will be our vice-captain tonight.
