Although they roped in Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak to bolster their paper thin backline in January, Liverpool look to be far from done when it comes to conducting defensive business.
The club is said to be traversing for viable options to add strength to its defensive setup. And one name who has refused to go away despite the moves of Kabak and Davies is that of Ezequiel Garay.
The defender who has been a free agent since seeing his contract at Valencia run down could end up finally getting a new club. Garay who was persistency linked to Liverpool in January is set to be piquing the club’s interest now as well.

However, the 34 year old defender’s weekly wages and contract length continue to remain contentious issues with both the parties yet to reach middle ground over these facets.
