Twitter reacts as Manchester United confirm Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their new manager.
Manchester United have confirmed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their permanent manager and the Norwegian will take charge of the club in a three-year deal. The Red Devils board were happy with the attacking methodology the 46-year-old has brought into the club which has thereby produced results on a consistent basis.
Since taking over the club in mid-December from Jose Mourinho’s hands, the record Premier league winners have won 14 from their last 19 games including the dramatic win over Paris Saint Germain at Parc Des Princes in the Champions League Round of 16. Even though he faced elimination in the hands of Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup, the club has put the belief on him to land them in a position to fight for a top-four finish and qualify for the Champions League Quarterfinals for the first time in seven years.
The Old Trafford faithful have been ecstatic following this news and rightfully so.

Solskjaer 100% deserves the job. He’s restored the culture and identity of Manchester United. The last 3 months have been the best period supporting the club since Sir Alex’s final season in charge. Mike Phelan and the rest of the coaching staff deserve huge credit too! #mufc

I’m delighted for Ole . I didn’t think this would happen when he was appointed . However the results and spirit in the club have been incredible since he arrived and he deserves it. He now needs support in the transfer market in terms of finance and the right resource! ❤️👹
