Liverpool make a big statement in regards to Coutinho
Phillippe Coutinho’s potential move to Barcelona just does not seem to go away for Liverpool fans.
Jurgen Klopp’s outfit are no doubt better off with Coutinho in their side, but Klopp must wonder if the hassle is worth it. The Brazilian was reportedly extremely upset that he did not get his dream move to Barcelona.
He went on strike, refused to train, put in a transfer request and still could not push his move through. While Klopp has maintained that Coutinho is committed to the club, one must wonder how the Brazilian really feels.
The Liverpool club have been adamant that their Brazilian is going no where. But yes, they also understand that a huge offer might be too much for them to resist.

Coutinho’s advisers have been sounded out that there could be chance that they come for him in January. Barcelona are planning on a major squad shake up in the next window, and could look to bring in the Brazilian in their squad.
But Klopp and Liverpool have made it very clear to their number 10 that they will not entertain any offer for Coutinho in the summer. The will want to keep hold of their star man for as long as they can, and a mid season departure is certainly not on the cards.
In the age of player power, we have understood that sometimes clubs can keep hold of their star men. In the case of Coutinho, the Brazilian signed a new five-year contract last January and Liverpool hope he will fulfill it.
But let’s see what the future holds!
